11 OctFirst U.S. flight school acquires ADS-B safety system
ADS-B rollout and adoption continues across the United States.
Last week, Phoenix East Aviation, Inc. acquired ADS-B systems on its training aircraft.
The Oct. 6 announcement made Phoenix East Aviation the first independent flight training academy in the U.S. to be equipped with ADS-B.
In a press release, Phoenix East Aviation Chief Executive Officer Ghassan Reslan says, “We are proud to be the first independent flight training academy in the U.S. to take the lead and implement the ADS-B system.”
“Flight training students will learn to utilize this technology, which will make them better prepared for careers as professional pilots,” he says,
“Without a doubt, as the worldwide aviation system evolves and grows,” says Reslan, “ADS-B will play an important role in overall flight safety and air traffic control efficiencies.”
